An Amendment to Up and Down The Ivory Tower

In “Up and Down the Ivory Tower”. I stated that Thorazine and Melaril were the causes of genetic issues like Autism.

Through continued research, I discovered that Depakote or Valproic Acid causes Autism when it is found in the prenatal and natal environment.

I was on Depakote at the time of my son’s conception and at age 2 he was diagnosed with Autism and Dyspraxia.

Later a second Neurologist prescribed Amantadyne. He stated that there was this remote study done with a few children suffering from Autism and that it had helped some of them.

I didn’t want my son to take it, but his mother did.

The doctor had him on it for several years. Eventually Keith developed Epilepsy in his teen years.

Recent research found that Amantadyne causes neurological changes in the brain that result in Epilepsy.

I found a Neurologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and with Anti- Seizure Drugs medication cocktail Trileptal, Lamictal and Xcopri plus Klonopin, and Folic Acid Keith’s seizures have been reduced in frequency from one to two every month to one to two every two to three months. Some of them are as short as 7 seconds to the longest about one minute.
